Flying In November?

Thu Oct 16, 2003 11:05 pm

Are you flying during November? If so, please reply answering these questions:

1) With which airline are you travelling?;
2) Where are you going?; and
3) Aboard which aircraft will you be flying?.

For me, it's:

1) UL and FR;
2) SIN via MLE, CMB and UL / WMKK), Malaysia">KUL; CIA; and
3) 330 and 340 with UL; 738 (probably) with FR.

Cheers, James.

Flying FR MAN-DUB-BHX probably on 732s although may get "lucky" with a 738. I also need to get to GLA at the end of the month from either BHX or EMA so I'll probably opt for FlyBe. on what I imagine will be a DH8.

I have yet to fly on an FR 732 or indeed any 732. I want to though, before they're all withdrawn from operation.

Pe@rson,

Ryanair 732's are the worst aircraft I have ever flown on. The seats are falling apart and they're really noisy. However I suppose its worth experiencing the once as it will make you smile next time a shining new 738 turns up  Smile

If you want to get on one they are used on most flights from UK regional airports to DUB or if you are close to STN (or Glasgow) the PIK route is usually always a 732 as well (from my experience).

It looks more and more like I'll be going to London on business:

1. On AA or BA, haven't decided yet. As UA has given me the message that my continued business with them is no longer important, I need to find someone new. I've never tried either airline. I'm leaning towards trying both, so that I can decide if I want to try AA domestically.  Sad (Come on UA, throw me a bone!)

2. Route will be LAX to LHR

3. The non-stops on both airlines use 777's !!!
Oh how I long for the day when the skies were truly Friendly!

As non rev you are never sure about which airline or route you end up with. But at this time it looks like:

1. BA

2. ARN-LHR-DXB-LHR-ARN

3. 319/772/772/320

Backup :

1. LX

2. ARN-ZRH-DXB-ZRH-ARN

im going from CGN to MAD for few days.

Flight Number: 4U 516
Date: 04Nov03
Departure Time: 16:00
From: Cologne - Bonn Terminal 1
To: Madrid - Barajas Airport
Arriving at: 18:25

------- ----------- ------------------------- -------------------------

08NOV03 HLX(X3)3313 Madrid 19:55 Köln/Bonn 22:15

------- ----------- ------------------------- -------------------------

4U will be a A319 most likely while HLX flies 737-800 only.
i chose 4u on the way to MAD because their flight is 1 hour earlier, leaving more time on the first evening.
and i picked hlx on the flight back because it was 10 euros cheaper. i am paying 180 euros return for 2 passengers.

20th November (For Now)

Finally heading home! Doing my usual routing on a subload basis

SYD - SIN SQ220 B744 F
SIN - HKG SQ2 B744 F

I can always change my date if i find out that the flights are full. SQ232 and 868 is another option, but I always take 220/2 is I head straight for HKG without a stopover! Plus, the B744s!

Best Regards

1st November.
Lufthansa
LHR-Frankfurt
A320

out on the early morning flight (around 6.30 am) for a days spotting at Frankfurt and returning around 5 pm, again on a Lufthansa A320.

Then on the 4th November on a football charter to Rome for the European Champions League game between Lazio and Chelsea. I know we are flying into Ciampino Airport but, as yet, we haven't been informed which airline we are flying with.

Because I am a member of the IRA and plan to bomb you all! Or perhaps it's because this is an aviation forum which is concerned with flying, and so I am curious where everyone is going...

Flying Cathay Pacific and AA on the following sectors:

HKG-LAX-DFW-LAX-HKG

The return leg will coincide with the Thanksgiving weekend in the US, so I'm expecting a circus at DFW and LAX !!
