Next sunday SAS will open flights to Belgrade, according to the daily Serbian newspaper Glas Javnosti. SAS will compete with JAT Airways on two routes:
Both routes will be operated twice weekly, with the Boeing 737 according to the winter timetable. SAS will become the 15th airline to serve Belgrade with regular passenger service this winter.
One surprising thing is that JAT nor SAS have opened direct flights between Oslo and Belgrade. Hopefully economic trade will grow between Norway and Serbia. I have many kind words to say about the fine people in Norway, and the support they have given towards the reconstruction of Nis Airport.
