It would be no surprise if Dinar did this. Remember folks, it might be snowing up north, but in Argentina, it is summer, & since the warm weather, unlike in Brazil, doesn't last very long in Argentina, people take their vacations now. Brazil has always been a major travel destination of Argentines. I lived there four years, & my best friend who lived in the same block as me, went to Camboriu (Sorry if I spelt it wrong) for three out of the four. Now, with one(1) argentine peso worth 1,80 reals
(last year it was $1ARG=$1.20BRA), the Brazilians are expecting an invasion. Around 2.6million Argentines could head to the white beaches of BRA this summer. According to Brazilian tourism figures, 25% of their tourists every year come from ARG. This year, with the exchange rate, it could be 33%. Florianopolis is a MAJOR destination for Argentines, since you can drive there from many places in Argentina, but many more will fly there. That's why Aerolineas Argentinas, LAPA, Dinar, Austral (all Argentine airlines) serve Florianopolis, however, only in the summer. During winter, virtually all flights are cancelled. That's the reason that Monarch probably leased those planes for the Northern Hemisphere's winter season. Hope this helps anyone.
