My family and I flew TN LAX
-PPT return in the spring of this year, and I found their service to be very good. Comfort was adequate; the IFE was interesting, but at a price- the computers housing controls for every several units took footspace away under seats... in addition, the IFE screens would lock up periodically and have to re-boot. Glad the FBW is not programmed by the same group (right?!).
Food was nothing remarkable, but served the purpose. Cabin staff ranged from ordinary to very nice, and the aircraft was very, VERY clean.
One funny event- On our flight south, there was this person always sitting on the jumpseat at the back right across from the lav (I mean, right THERE!). I assumed that she was non-reving, but upon discussion (while I waited to use the loo), I found out she was a revenue passenger. That's a first, in my experience.
Only other complaint is that, on the way back from PPT to LAX
, the cabin purser decided to turn on a Tahiti advertising and promotional video (comercials for hotels, restaurants, etc.) on the IFE, set to preempt everything else (including other programs and games). This, when we were headed back. Complaints did not help. Very bad choice.
But the airline, on the whole, was just fine. I would certainly fly them again.
