FLYING SHOULD BE FOR
EVERYONE – NOT JUST THE VERY RICH
Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 low fares airline, today (24th October 03) said goodbye and good riddance to Concorde’high fares, and the era of flights for rich people only.
Commenting on Concorde’s long overdue demise, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Paul Fitzsimmons said:
“Halle – bloody –lujah. The days of Concorde charging ridiculously high fares are over. It looks good, so put it in the museum, as testament to a time when air travel was only available to very rich fat-cats and faded celebrities. The world has changed, now everyone can afford Ryanair’s low air fares, and BA
’s Concorde high fares belong to the past.
Since Ryanair introduced low fares air travel in 1995, over 70 Million ordinary Europeans consumers have been able to fly to destinations throughout Europe, for as little as £9.00 – small change compared to Concorde’s €10,000! For every Concorde fare for one person, Ryanair is carrying over 1100 passengers!
The days of inefficient, high cost, high charging airlines is over. Thanks to Ryanair, flying is for everyone, not just the very rich.
This year Ryanair will carry almost 24 million passengers on over 500 daily flights on 134 routes across 16 countries.”
GO RYANAIR!!! WE
