Ryanair's New Interiors

Wed Oct 29, 2003 4:59 am

read an article in one of the current issues of the "trade" magazines,
and it mentioned that ryanair is adding new seats that have
the emergency cards printed on the seat-backs
(which makes sense to save money....alittle weird perhaps but....)

but what i thought was hard to believe was the fact that they said
the seats do not recline !!!! was that a misprint perhaps ?

that statement i find alittle hard to believe

sounds real uncomfortable on flts that are 2hrs +
or even on short legs as well

anyone have any confirmation info ?

I think reclining into anyone elses face is so rude that I don't do it. I am 6'5" and have managed from LHR-AKL via SIN and SYD, I don't see why anyone couldn't makage on an FR flight - they are much shorter than anything else and recline annoys passengers behind and causes maintenance problems - more parts = more places for damage/mx probs = more money spent!

Yes it saves a hell of alot of money, the seats are cheaper, they have to spend less money on safety cards obviously, and on seats reclining as GoAround has said.

However, i'd have to disagree that reclining your seat is rude, you paid for that space, so why not use it?
