AC Star Alliance Colors

Mon Nov 03, 2003 12:27 pm

I saw what appeared to be an Air Canada a/c (type unknown) AC034(?) land @ HNL last night, and it had the Star Alliance logo on its tail. I was looking through my binoculars, and zoomed in. I know for a fact that it wasn't the maple leaf, because that is red. Does anyone have info on this aircraft?

The aircraft's paint is now in a very poor condition. The word SAS has almost gone!!

..and don't expect the aircraft to be painted in the Star Alliances new color scheme anytime in the near future, these things cost money and money is what Air Canada does not have at this time.

Isn't an A319 or A320 being delivered from the Airbus factories in the new Star Alliance livery?

It will be repainted when it is due for its next heavy maintenence check, as is the norm for any airline, bankrupcy protection or not.
