How Much Time?

Thu Nov 06, 2003 4:33 am

How much time if I order for example a 737NG to Boeing, and I choose my own configuration and specs, in how much time would that a/c be ready for delivery, from the moment I order it?

Considering there are 800+ 737NG on backlog...quite awhile. Your best bet is to buy a fractional share in a BBJ, if you're serious about it. Personally if I had that kind of capital, I'll buy a used 737 among the many parked in the desert, then outfit it the way I want it. Have fun with the Boeing sales staff.  Wink/being sarcastic Regards.

While I'm not sure about the backlog, FlagshipAZ is probably right. If you really want a '37, picking up a used one is probably a better answer.

Of course, if you're wanting to fly shorter routes, or if you're wanting a BBJ, I'm sure Boeing could provide a 717 in a fairly reasonable amount of time...

No, Im not saying for me.

I dont even have that much money to buy a cessna.

I really want to know in how much time does the airline receive an aircraft they deliver, if the airline wants it soon.
