You are partly right considering of Finnair's code-share agreements... Shanghai and Beijing are code-share flights with Air China and BKK
flights with Qantas... BUT... The weird thing is that HKG
flights aren't code-share with Cathay Pacific even both are OneWorld members. I guess Finnair doesn't want add CX
flight numbers for their long-hauls, because demand is so high that they can easily sell all seats self.
So I just wonder, wouldn't direct HKG
flight be excellent for CX
? They could feed passengers for Finnair's large European network and offer much more comfortable and easier connections for their passengers than via Heathrow, for example? Also, the overall trip time would decrease a lot...
