Im surprised that not many people actually say Male when these topics come up, but judging by that wonderful picture, it looks like I will need to save up and go there sometime  Big thumbs up

Are you only counting exterior beauty ? In that case it must be HKG, however I'm pretty surprised that Hong Kong comes up so often but I've never heard anyone mention Macau ! If interior also counts then I would go for AMS or FRA.

I love most aspects of HNL, although much of the airport looks and smells like the 1960s...

Before somebody says DEN, I'll say DEN looks like circus tents...

Orlando-MCO is liked by many. The terminal design is nice as well as the landscaping.

Hong Kong-HKG is in a great setting as well.

If it's scenery around, I'm going to vote for SXM...the beautiful blue of the Caribbean on that famous beach near the fenceline just knocks me back.

Hmm... If we're talking Exterior wise, I'd vote for TNCM ( SXM ) Saint Martaan Netherlands Antilles.

Interior-Wise, KTPA, Tampa International.

I haven't been to many airports in my lifespan, but Tampa is a beautiful airport inside. I've flown out and into TPA many times, and I always find that airport to be spotless, nice, clean, an overall excellent experience.

KDTW McNamara terminal is also very very nice, the Smith terminal doesn't even compare though.

If it's scenery and the approach etc, then Aitutaki in the northern part of the southern Cook Islands. Either that or Bora Bora. Both are on the reef/atoll, but Bora Bora has wonderful peeks above it whereas Aitutaki has the most close-to-heaven experience with a lagoon.

But if you're talking terminals and man-made stuff...? The old TWA terminal at JFK. Charles de Gaulle. Qui sais?

Are we talking most beautifull airport, or most beautiful airport setting? MLE has a great setting but the airport facilities don't appear to be anything special. For most beautifull airport I'd have to say Bilbao is just stunning. Kansai too, seems very beautiful.

Bora-Bora - on its own little island, all set about with palm trees. Very cute Polynesian building with pointed eves and a palm-thatched roof.

Young and beautiful and thin and gorgeous AND BANNED ! Cya at airspaceonline.com, losers

I always thought it was STL, because whenever I saw it or still see it in person, it means I'm home or one flight away from home.

YVR. So beautiful with the influences from the natives (totem poles, art, waterfalls, nature)! Really love it! It's also a very peaceful airport  Smile

Based on airports I've been to...

MCO. The airport's in great shape & the exterior, interior & landscaping are great there. I like standing in the atrium....feels like you're outside to an extent.

DTW's WorldGateway would be second.

I dont really know why, but i guess since it has a HUGE 7 bay side by side hanger and a big FedEx cargo area with a Gulfstream being ther as well. Not mention the Control Tower looks SWEET....one of the best looking towers IMO.

AFW....Aliance FortWorth, i dont think there are any good photos of the Tower on the database. If anyone can get them its worth the picture.

THe landscape around it is nice.....COUNTRY...what i love and miss.

Id have to say SFO or HNL for the US. But in Europe, for interior anyway, id go with CPH

I would have to say SYD and ZQN have the most beautiful airport setting. Sydney has the ocean and the city skyline, and Queenstown has the beautiful mountains.

Well, I tend to like architecture, and from me, the idea of KIX, is to me one of the most brilliant ever by man. The simple idea of building an airport from scratch and building a terminal that has a design to live up to the progress of literally making an island is wonderful. The spherical idea of the terminal is great, air-ventilation and just the way it looks, modern, futuristic in a way. My vote goes for Osaka's Kansai Airport

I tend to like airports with urban settings and Lindbergh Field (SAN) gets my vote (I loved KaiTak too but you can't go back). SAN is surrounded by hills populated by houses and situated next to a beautiful harbor. The downtown skyline is less than a mile away creating a graceful backdrop for arriving aircraft. Something about having the city at your doorstep once you get off the plane after a long flight that adds to the mystic of flight!
Uncle SAN at your service!

The nicest airport I've seen is BNE (Brisbane Australia). There's a lot of palm trees inside, and I think they're real.

Biased view.. ICN
AMS is also a great airport too.. at least thinking from airports I've been to in real life..

I think it's any airport at night. I just stood out on the ramp here at STL, looking at the terminal, nothing running. GPUs keeping the wingtip lights on on all the aircraft for visibility, the runway lights, and the occasional tug or ramp vehicle that you can hear 1/2 mile away from you. A serene contrast to the hustle and bustle of the daytime. It's only disrupted by the very occasional aircraft moving from a maintinance hanger or out for a runup.

Judging by the scenery around it's got to be Male. Maldives. But judging from any other perspective it's Changi, Singapore.

I'm going with Chrisrad; it has to be Kuala Lumpur, with Seoul's new Incheon and HKG running a close second and third.
