777-300ER At Sydney

Fri Nov 07, 2003 4:03 pm

There was a 777-300ER in Boeing colours parked near the General Aviation area at Sydney airport (Aus) last Monday. Anyone know why?

Think I read somewhere that it is on test flights and left Sydney to fly via South America

Yes, it was part of the 773ER World Tour. For details of the World Tour, check the official site:

It came to Logyearbyen (LYR) at Svalbard/Spitzbergen (Norway) the other day too, on its way from Tokyo (NRT) to Reykjavik (KEF).

Amazing to see it in the Arctic surroundings!
