Brue Dickenson Airlines?

Sun Nov 09, 2003 11:17 pm

The Toronto Sun is running a contest where you can win a trip to Paris to see Iron Maiden and they are saying that you will be flown over by Bruce Dickenson himself, on Bruce Dickenson Airlines. This is probably just a charter I would assume, but would it be on a 737? Does anyone know what types old Bruce is type rated for? All of the old big hair rockers I work with thought that it was a pretty cool sounding contest anyway.

I remember that I read somewhere that he works as a F/O at Iceland Express, but I don't know exactly.

He's a rated a F/O on the 733 that Iceland Express is leasing from Astraeus. I seriously doubt it's going to be a non-stop - or else it's going to be a chartered BBJ!

Go to http://www.roskildedaily.dk/ and select the link that reads either "Roskilde Daily, fredag d. 27/6 (2.9 MB)" or "Roskilde Daily, lørdag d. 28/6 (4.1 MB)" (can't remember which one it is) and scroll through it. There should be a nice picture of Bruce in his F/O uniform in front of "his" 737 at CPH.

He flies for Astraeus on the Boeing 737-300 and 737-700.

I wonder why he would do this now? How long has he been a pilot?
couldnt see him needing the money.

seems with his return to Iron Maiden they have been touring and doing well.

I wonder if he has all the time to fly, I know if I had to choose between pilot or front man for one of the best heavy metal bands today, that would be a no brainer.
