EasyJet/ RyanAir On Long-houl?

Mon Nov 10, 2003 9:47 pm

I wonder if RyanAir or EasyJet ever gonna start long-houlflights
over the Atlantic?
Is that just a dream that I´m having or could it be a
reality in near future?
What do you think, guyz?

Cheers

I'm not sure it will be a reality in the future but we can dream.
Longhaul flights are not like intra european flights and if something like that happen, I'm pretty sure that the majors will do everything to stop it!! remember "Laker" in the past!
I've read somewhere that the "EasyAtlantike" brand already exist!! Is there someone knowing something about that?
Flying is amazing!

I don't see them to start long-haul flights. We already have low cost flights on long-haul routes. The airlines are Swiss, Lufthansa, KLM etc.

Flying for CHF 450 from Switzerland to Los Angeles is already low cost. Every airline would be stupid to enter this market. They would not be able to earn money...
