Thomas Cook 767 @ HNL

Wed Nov 12, 2003 6:38 am

There was a Thomas Cook 767-300 at HNL, parked at Gate 7 or 8. Does anyone have any info on it? Flight number, city where the flight originated, and destination. I saw it from my balcony which has a decent, yet distant view of HNL. I saw it through my binoculars. As of 11:35am HST, it was seen being towed the North Ramp Hardstands.

This 767 (actually operated by Condor/Germany) is on a promoting special "round the world flight"!
As far as I remember the routing from HNL takes on to either SFO or LAX and then on to the eastcoast! But I´m not sure!

I don´t actually know what is the backround of this flight, I just know that we (the F/A´s) could not bid for this particular trip, it was not put into the bidding system, but had to send in a written application to work it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn´t even bother to read through it!
No thanks, not interested in such flights!
I personally know some of the crewmembers on it, and will try to get more detailed information, once they´re back!
Will let you know then!

Best regards,

Anybody know the registration?

Dirk/L1011Lover, you didn´t happen to be on FRA-CTA-FRA on October 18/November 1, 752 (NR) and 763 (UD [?])? Would be a hell of a coincidence, but I thought I´d ask anyway  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hi Daniel,

...nope!!!
On October 18, I had a day off in LEJ, while being on a domestic trip!
November 1, I flew FRA-ACE-FRA!

Maybe next time  Smile

Dirk.

As of 14 Nov, 1100 HST the Thomas Cook/Condor 767 was seen parked at Gate 6. Apparently, ready to continue its journey. Where is this 767 headed?

Does anyone know if this flight will turn into a regularly scheduled flight?

I seriously doubt that - I'd say that there's not enough of a market to sustain a direct Germany-Hawaii flight... I wouldn't mind though...  Big grin

There are no plans at Condor/Thomas Cook for introduction of a direct, regularly scheduled FRA-HNL flight!
