Emirates should do well at Glasgow, since it will have the whole Indian/Pakistan market to itself, with flights to those areas via Dubai. Also, should also see some Kangaroo traffic on these flights as well.

Not so fast...PIA is too starting GLA from April from KHI via LHE and ISB (once a week each)...from KHI twice a week...most likely flights will be nonstop using A 310-300s. However no official route has been released but my guess is :

KHI-LHE-GLA 1x weekly A 313
KHI-ISB-GLA 1x weekly A 313

I think that even for EK 4-5 weekly A 332s is more than enough for GLA flights!!! I will be really interested in seeing their loads on these flights between Oct-Dec and Feb-May!!!

Behramjee, thanks for posting that. I wonder who will offer the cheaper fares, to Pakistan for example? I under the opinion that Emirates will get more business class paying passengers than PIA, because EK's business class product is considerably better than PIA's.

Not only EK's business class is superior to PIA's. And daily flights give travellers much more flexibility, beating weekly flights anytime.
