Hi Ivan, I've just read an article about the accident in a local newpaper today.
The article says that some Boeing experts went to the airport to work on the CAL 747, with interventions on the fuselage, 2 engines and 3 wheel (sorry I don't know the exact word in english). According to the newspaper, the intervention cost $ 5 millions, plus an extra cost for the broken lights on the runway.
The article also says that the B747 is now ready to fly again, and that he would take off this saturday morning, but I'm just back from the airport and he's still on the ground...
Life is short : eat dessert first !
