Bwia Receives Its First 737-800

BWIA West Indies Airways received its first 737-800NG 8/1/00. The aircraft 9Y-GEO is scheduled to do its maiden commercial flight to New York 9/1/00.
The aircraft will replace the L1011 on the Toronto route as of next week.

any word on when it plans to visit Miami? if ever?

I believe they are going to use it on their new Boston route starting 14 Jan, operating twice-weekly (Mon and Fri).
