Heathrow A-Z On Discovery Wings Tonight

Sat Nov 29, 2003 2:19 am

Just to let you know, Discovery Wings is doing a little expose on Heathrow tonight at 6PM EST. I've never seen or heard of this program before, and it looks relatively new from the commercials. I know I'll be watching it  Smile

Time Team? It's a regular program here they do a lot of archaeological digs and film whilst doing it, it must be to do with T5.

Thanks for the tip, but . . .

I just went and checked the cable guide, and I noticed that it was an BBC ‘Airport’ program. Then I noticed another ‘Airport’, and another. It’s a ‘Airport’ Marathon. Just to make sure I checked The Discovery Wings site, and sure enough it’s a marathon! They are calling it ‘Heathrow A to Z’.

The first episode airs at 6pm (3pm PST) and then starts repeating at 2:00 am Saturday. The marathon continues through Sunday till 6pm.

Enjoy !!  Wow!

Discovery WIngs shows this program on a regular basis. It is often repeated (ad nauseam, actually). I wish they would bring more stuff like this and also more about the commercial airline sector instead of all the military crap they bring that is better suited for the History Channel...

Well,
Me being a military buff, all of the military shows don't bother me in the least, and most of them I enjoy immensely. But I agree....I wish they would come out with new content a little faster and have some more commercial aircraft/airline programs.
