LPL's Renovation: Seats Still There?

Mon Dec 01, 2003 3:18 am

Hey,

I might be going to BFS for the day (from LPL) in the next couple weeks (it'll cost either £25.98 or £30.98 all inclusive, depending on the date on which I travel). I'll be leaving on the 0700 service and I'll be travelling by train (I'll arrive at LPL at around 0030).

I was just reading a 2001 report (on www.sleepinginairports.com) about sleeping overnight at LPL - and it seemed fine. However, the departure area is currently being renovated and I'm unsure if I saw any non-restaurant and non-pub seats and chairs on which to sit and sleep. Can anyone confirm this?

Just booked LPL-BFS-LPL on U2 for a huge £25.98 including tax.  Wink/being sarcastic Big grin

When I was at LPL on Saturday, most of U2's 737s were -700s although there were a couple ex-Go -300s. Which series generally operates the BFS run?

For Belfast you never can tell if it will be -700 or -300. Can't believe you got such a good fare - I can never get less than £60 return, and I booked last week for December 20th at £86.99! One-way! Low cost my ass!

Yep, got it for £25.98 (return and including all taxes). I guess you're travelling on the expectedly-busy - and thus more expensive - weekends. I, however, will be travelling on a Tuesday - which is, like Wednesday, the cheaper time to fly.

I will be flying LPL-MAD on 15/1 and MAD-LPL on 16/1 - all for a mere £45.98 (total including all taxes). Big grin  Wink/being sarcastic
