I read at www.delta-air.com that Delta, starting this summer is going to have a daily round trip service from Atlanta to Anchorage. The aircraft used will be a 767-300ER. I was just wondering, is that aircraft too big for that route, I mean Delta is the ONLY Mainland US airline operating widebodies (non-cargo) to ANC. Delta already has a SLC-ANC daily 767 service. Is this going to do Delta any good? The rest of the airlines use the 757, and Alaska Airlines uses the 737, MD-80 and 737-800.
