I want a large copy of the photograph second from the top or the second from the bottom. They are very nice photos of a very nicely painted aircraft. I would not want to pay the cost though. (I did not want to mention the name of the airline because I know I would forget and add a letter not in the name) I am serious though about the pictures.

I still reckon the best livery we have seen from any Australian airline was the Impulse cocky scheme  Sad

I would like to amend my previous post. Not only would I like copies of the two photos of the Qantas 744 QuantasClub has shared with us (the second from the top and the second from the bottom) but I would also like a photo of the 744 F-1 Qantas livery that is on another string. They are amazing looking aircraft.

Yeah me too. I loved that Sulphur Crested Cockatoo livery. So brazenly and honestly Australian, capturing the spirit and vigour of the nation.

You'd have to ask why Qantas paid for a new airline name and corporate ID and livery when they had one waiting in the wings that they already woned!

erm... I don't see what the problem is David?

You either click the 'Buy This photo' link or where there isn't one you contact the photographer and ask them for a print, which I'm sure they'll be glad to supply at a reasonable cost.

Cheers!

These Australian Aborigine-inspired liveries are probably the most color liveries around. It'll be interesting to see if QF will apply such a livery at least on one of their A380-800's that will be delivered in late 2006.  Big thumbs up

The one I liked the most, that we sadly no longer see was the Tropical Megatop scheme by SIA. That was one gorgeous livery... I also love Wunala Dreaming.  Smile

IMHO, CP's goose that extends from the tail to the body of the plane is like no other.

I agree that QANTAS' Nalanji and Wunala are gorgeous. (The Impulse livery was inspired as well!)

Maybe one of you can tell me; am I correct in thinking that a British Airways 747-400 I flew on a couple of years ago had it's tail painted in a Wunala-esque scheme???

QF´s Wunala Dreaming(s) is (are) the most beautiful aircraft that ever graced the skies, Concorde included. I love this (these two) 747!
Nalanji Dreaming comes a close second. No other special scheme of any airline comes close.

Nwacrew, yes, BA had Wunala and Nalanji inspired schemes, plus an additional 'water dreaming' scheme:

Thanks everyone, for your replies and pics. Qantas's Wunulla dreaming is a great flagship for the airline. Unfortunatedly, because it's a 744ER, it's only seen on the LAX/NYC routes, whereas the previous wunulla dreaming flew to just about everywhere.
I think the worst special liveries are the JAL disney/mickey mouse ones. Tacky+++!
Cheers,

Exactly what I was thinking
These thing are very ugly.

They remind me of the VW Golf when for a year or so they had all the differnt part of the body in different colours....you don't see to many people driving those!!!!

ALl those schemes are awesome. Too bad I would never to get see any of them where I live. The closes we come to color is BA World Tails, and BW and JM bright, and perhaps strange color.

I love how all the negative comments on this forum was just ignored. We are talking about "This Is The World's Most Amazing Livery," if you don't agree well just watch and weep.

Although I'm not a fan of logojets, I love folk art. With so many airlines using bland corporate schemes that do not evoke any particular nation, the Australian aboriginal art motifs are a breath of fresh air. I love all the Qantas "dreaming" schemes and hope more airlines show off their native folk art.
