What About That TranAsia 321 In March, Write-off?

Thu Dec 04, 2003 9:13 pm

Hi everybody,

as you might know, on March 22, 2003, a TransAsia A321 (B-22603) crash-landed on a utility vehicle at TPE, causing "substantial damage".

Was this plane finally declared a write-off or not? The online sources seem to contradict themselves on that one.

Thanks in advance.

I believe JACDEC lists it as a write-off. It was scratched from their hull loss candidates list.
