Highest Number Of First Class Seats

Thu Dec 11, 2003 6:29 pm

Just saw that the SV Tri-Star have the following configuration:

30 First Class, 43 Business Class, 141 Guest Class

Wouldn't that be the highest number of first class seats on any passenger airline???

United Airlines used to operate 747s to Asia with high numbers of First and Business Class seats. As late as 1999 747-400s were operated in a 36F/123C/142Y configuration. Before that I know that 747-200s also operated in configurations with high numbers of F and C seats.
