As Passenger In The Cockpit

Sat Dec 13, 2003 7:55 am

In September I was flying from Hamburg to Frankfurt with LH Airbus 320. While check in I asked the staff if it is possible to enjoy the flight on the jumpseat in the cockpit or even visit the cockpit during flight. I flew C-Class, so the distance from my seat to the flightdeck was not very far. The told me after Sep. 11 this is not possible any more, but they offered me to have a look inside after arrival in FRA. But of course the crew had no time for me.
Now I fly KoreanAir and KLM next time. Hopefully I have the chance for a visit. How other airlines handle this question ? Any experience ?

I think you'll fing that no one allows entry into the flight deck while in flight anymore. There have many 'threds' on this subject in the last few months and all have said the samething. Sorry....
