I would have at a guess that after Kendall's experience with the CRJ that they would be pretty stupid to select and operate that particular RJ.
In a dream world it would be nice to think that Rex will get bigger and will eventually operate something like 170's or 190's (or even 728's or 928's if they ever get to the market) but unfortunately this is the real world so it's SF340's for the foreseeable future.
See this is something i don't fully understand. Why did Kendell have such a bad experience with the CRJ? There are stacks of regionals in the USA operating the CRJ and they don't find it bad. What is it about Australia that didn't work? And i know the climate wasn't the main factor either as the CRJ's operated from sea level cities such as Adelaide,Hobart,Launceston,MEL
. They use them in "Hot and high" airports in the USA.
I think Kendell's main problem with the CRJ was not so much with the aircraft and its performance but rather the fact that it was competing with 737's on the same routes.
