Actually, as far as I know, not a single airline outside of the US has introduced this yet... admittedly, getting unlimited free upgrades on LH for flights within Germany doesn't hold the same appeal as having unlimited upgrades available on some of the longer intra-US flights, so European airlines would have to offer the same on an intra-European level to somewhat come close... but, as I've said above, I'm not aware of any airline over here offering the same...

I was comparing US carriers, as they all have jumped on this band wagon in the last couple of days. God forbid one of the airlines ever has an original idea.

Luv2fly, I wasn't disagreeing with you - I actually somewhat envy the choice frequent flyers in the US are getting... it'll probably take years before that trend crosses the Atlantic...

Concerning the thought of "original ideas" on airlines - well, original ideas of any type seem to be a bit short in supply these days, the last one that I can remember being the introduction of flat beds in First Class (the introduction of them in Business was, essentially, just a normal follow-on, since airlines are constantly busy improving first and business classes and cutting down on whatever in economy/coach).
