Routes And Fleet Of Transaero

Mon Dec 22, 2003 4:13 am

Any one know exactly where TRANSAERO operates flights in Russia, CIS and internationally?
What is the current fleet of Transaero ?

I know that in the past, they were operating B757, DC10 and B732.

This page gives you an overview of their fleet:

http://www.transaero.ru/english/about/planes.html

They don't mention how many planes of each type they have though...

Take a look at www.polets.ru - it details every flight within Russia and the CIS. It's the Russian equiv. of OAG and very interesting, useful and good indeed.

Transaero is in big financial problems (as lots of airlines are). Our company has lots of trouble cause there are heaps of open billings.

767-3Q8ER (cn 24745 ln 355) EI-DBF ex F-GHGF
767-3Q8ER (cn 24746 ln 378) EI-DBG ex F-GHGG

So they've 6 B767 (3 -200 and 3 -300), that's a nice fleet...

Are they flying to long-haul destinations in the russian Far East and CIS?
(Like Petropavlosk-Kamtchaky, Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok or Irkutsk)

Because I know that some runways in Russia are in bad shape.

Do you know if B767 can used some of these "rustic runways" ??
