Air Canada DEL Flights And Russian Airspace

Fri Dec 26, 2003 4:17 am

I do appologize if there is information in the forums about this, but I searched for a while and couldn't find any. Did the Canadian government ever solve its dispute with Russia over Air Canada overflying Russian airpspace on its flights into DEL?

Yes. Russia permitted overflight from November 27 onwards.

The permission is renewable on a monthly basis. Bilateral talks leading to a permanent solution are expected soon.
