Where Is Ethiopian Going?

Sat Dec 27, 2003 10:46 am

I used to hear such raves about Ethiopian, but it seems that Kenyan and Air Gabon are doing well with trans-African flights. With EK entering DXB-LOS-ACC market, ET & KQ & ME must be shaking in their boots about lost traffic to DXB.

How has ET been holding up lately? Their schedules are a hodge-podge, but their inflight was good when I took EWR-FCO-ADD a few years ago.

Now ET is flying to CDG 2x weekly.
ET is still the main airline, linking East and West Africa.

Air Gabon is just flying between Libreville (LBV) and Nairobi (NBO) 2x weekly with a B763.

Kenya Airways has an interesting network, flying to DLA, NSI, FIH, LOS, ACC and ABJ with a B737-700.
