What Happened To This A319?

Sun Dec 28, 2003 12:23 pm

I was viewing the BOS Passur viewer thing, at around 10:18 a A319 took a sharp turn to the right and then after about a minute took a sharo turn to the left then got back on track? Can anyone else see this?

ALSO it showed a B742 at 2700 feet NOT going to BOS that just fell off the screen??? That was around 10:23.

I'm lost.

If they crashed it would have been on the news. Don't worry about it

well some pilots told me that some planes to swerve (spelled?) right before landing due to slowing down a bit if there is still another aircraft on the runway after they landing. not sure about any other reasons.

Sometimes for spacing reasons aircraft will perform what is called S-turns. I have seen airliners do this on several occasions here at ORD.
Hope this helps.
