just like to maintain a strong dependable and consistent 'British' image.
This is why they never retaliate with the constant tacky / libellous slogans that Virgin/Easyjet & particularly Ryanair use in their advertising campaigns.
They don't stoop to their level!
Their branding and sense of decorum is strong, if a little staid at times, but overall, i think events like Concordes last day / Rugby World Cup / various state visits and the 'poppy' image for Rememberance Sunday are strong and tasteful PR
without resorting to the tasteless tat of the above.
I would like to see them do something for the 30th anniversary however, but with budgets tight it may not be what they would wish for .
Maybe we'll be surprised!
