777 Crew Bunk Tales

Tue Dec 30, 2003 1:59 pm

Posted a few days ago - yanked re: my mistake...but still curious...fascinating that the "Pax caught in the act on 757" thread is now at 15,000+ views (how telling...)

Admittedly, would be basically impossible for pax to access the area, but any (good) stories to share?

the 777 access door to the lower lobe crew rest in UA's fleet is right in the middle of the cabin in clear view of lots of people. It would be so obvious if a non-uniformed person were to enter and probably cause alarm.

The 744 on the otherhand has an access door tucked away in the back behind door 5 right. It's well out of view and there's a bit more room up there then the 777 rest area. Problem is the 777 has larger bunks then the 744.

This topic is the number one most frequent question I'm asked when I say that I'm a flight attendant. It's always "Oh, have you ever caught people doing it in the lavs?" followed by "so does the airline pay for your hotel when you're on a layover?".

On all the hundreds of long haul flight segments I've worked I've never once seen anything even slightly erotic happening on a plane except for one Japanese Business man looking at some porn at his seat. Wooopie!

You're really fortunate. LAS red eyes are just about notorious for people doing things under blankets at their seats. That strikes me as gross. It's not even remotely private.

Oh but that's what makes it fun and more of a challenge! Big grin  Big grin

FA4UA says he never saw anything even slightly erotic, well, thats the whole idea! To do it and not be seen!

Well...a new challenge for all spotters to kick out the SXM-pics of the "best forever" rating and replace it by an amusing cabin shot... Big thumbs up

Why not just offer it for rent to the "needy" pax? Would be quite some cash cow...
