Here's a question that I hope will serve 2 purposes. 1, to divert attention away from the folk with no life ruining the forum for us, and 2, to enlighten me.
With that in mind, can someone please tell me what a High Bypass Ratio engine is and what it means?
Also, exactly how does a "sleeve type" (737NG, A320, etc) thrust reverser work as opposed to a "clam shell" type (737-200, MD-80, etc.)?
