Best Movie To Watch Inflight

What would be better than Airplane while you're crossing from, say, JFK to Paris.
Maybe Turbulence on an X-mas flight?
Heia Norge!

Maybe that movie about the rugby team that had to eat each other on a flight across the Andes.. on a flight over the Andes.

Any of the airport movies.

That made for TV movie with the convertible 737 on a flight around Hawaii

The made for TV movie about the out of fuel 767 on a flight to... was it Vancouver?

Executive Decision with Kurt Russell

Die Hard 2 with Bruce Willis

and then of course the Airport classics - Airport, Airport 75 and Airport 77.
(Airport 80 isn't worth mentioning or viewing)

Cant think of any others.
I miss those DL L-1011's

"SST Death Flight" MST3K version

For those of you who ahve never seen this movie (and chances are you NEVER will), imagine a movie about the maiden flight of Concorde.

EXCEPT: Concorde has four pylon-mounted GE90 engines, a cabin the width of a wide 747, and is piloted by the dad fromt he Brady Bumch.

I can only assume almost every print of this film was burned because it has many famous and well respected actors in it, who's careers were not killed by this movie (I HIGHLY doubt they ever put it on there resumes).

I was fortunate enough to have a friend who has many old episode of MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000, a show where a guy and two robots watch really bad (cheesy) movies and makes fun of them), and this happend to be one of them. Wow it was bad.

Just returned from YVR on Northwest with a 5.8 inch screened Panasonic DVD player. It's so small it fits in a shaving case. Btw, I watched "Hanover Street" -- a 1989 flick with (teenage-looking) Harrison Ford and Lesley-Ann Down. There are enough B-25 battle scenes to keep anyone entertained. And if that doesn't do it, there's actually a plot.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

The only ones I saw were on Lufthansa. They were Antitrust, Picture Perfect, See spot run, and prehistoric predators. (There were may more from other LH overseas flights). All basically sucked, except for See Spot Run. I think there needs to be more comedy, even if it means showing some flicks from a few years ago like Meet the Parents.

Alive: The Miracle of the Andes (1993)

The one where the Uruguayan rugby team stranded in the snow swept Andes are forced to eat each other to survive after a plane crash  Acting devilish

Porn ones!! on the new Emirates 345 F class suit! - I'll second that!!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Many years ago I was flying DTW to ANC. The movie was Titanic. Needless to say most passengers were going on a cruise. OPPPSS did the marketing department goof up on that month.

Happy New Year !

I flew SFO - LHR on Virgin Atlantic Airways - 49% owned by Singapore Airlines Limited - and I watched Lord of the Rings II.

It seemed really bad, or maybe it was because I was uncomfortable. I dunno, but normally I can watch movies on planes.

And I agree with the choice of Airplane and maybe even Airplane II  Big thumbs up
