Slogans For Airlines

Thu Jan 01, 2004 4:50 am

You have been assigned to create a slogan for a named airline - be it one which exists or a fictional one. What will it be?

Mine would be:

fly.com - and you're there.
"Everyone writing for the Telegraph knows that the way to grab eyeballs is with Ryanair and/or sex."

China Airlines - You've seen us Drive, now Watch us Fly!

 Big grin

Honestly, though.... I'll use the "fly.com" example again.

fly.com - No matter where you go, there you are.
"Talk to me, Goose..."

United.......the Wings of Bankruptcy.

That was mean, just teasing, I hope that UA works it out if only for its employees that have worked hard and gotten a tough deal. United could use the old National theme. FLY TED, with a Queer Eye twist......FLY TED, FLY SAFE, it works for me!

Braniff, just before its bankruptcy, was going to use the slogan:

We are coming to get you!

Thought that was a good one.

1. For Ghana Air: You can smell the experience (dried fish heads)

2. Aerofloat: Ve stay ink air now

3. Hooters: Our girls jiggle but, our planes do not wiggle

4. Air France: Bonjour; we don't like Americans but, we have the most flights from our country to the United States.

Some fictitious airlines:

1. Lollapaluza- Grungy planes and head banging flying

2. Bee Bop: Hey, there's Song

3. Air Generic: a Plane flying experience.

4. W-E-O: Where Economy Originates

5. "PlummetAir" : Never a dull moment; Russian planes and rookie flight crews!

 Big thumbs up

NWAFA, you obviously don't fly WN often, and must have had a bad experience.. Sorry  Sad

or maybe jealous of the "Liar Liar, Pant's on Fire" that Southwest jabbed back @ NW for claiming to be better than WN several years back.

So how about:

Southwest Airlines: "We LUV you the best"

from the old days "Just Plane Smart"

and even more meaningful after 9/11

Southwest Airlines "A Symbol of Freedom"
Southwest Airlines "A Symbol of Freedom"
