Gatwick-Santiago; Who And How

Sun Jan 04, 2004 9:50 pm

A friend of mine is flying from Gatwick to Santiago (Chile) at the end of January on a charter flight. Does anyone know which airline will operate this flight? Also, I assume a refuelling stop will be necessary; any ideas as to where that might be?

P&O Cruises are operating a number of charter flights from London Gatwick to Santiago.

The aircraft will be

Monarch Airlines Airbus A330-200, with a stop in Cuba

Thomas Cook Airbus A330-200 with a stop in Barbados

&

Britannia Airways Boeing 767-300ER with a stop in Barbados

It depends on your tour operator on which aircraft is being used etc.

Kind Regards

Kimberly.

Ps. I know this, as my sister is the head of flight operations for P&O Cruises UK.

Those three airlines flew out to Santiago a few weeks ago for the same reason. The Monarch flight stops in Varadero. There are also various flights from Manchester too.
