Expansion At SWS

I know that Air Wales fly from Swansea to DUB, ORK, LCY, CWL and AMS..using ATR42 equipment..

But do you think that any other airlines will be tempted to go there.. the runway is 1472 m OR 4829 ft.. I guess a 737 or similar aircraft could land there... maybe even if SWS just had the odd charter to Spain, Italy, Portgual etc.. I'm sure there is a market.. with a large number of people living in West Wales and Central parts of Wales...

I would personally like to see maybe Eastern Airways start flight's there or another UK regional airline....

Anyway.. Your thought's please..

Only Air Wales would touch SWS I would think. CWL is adequate for the charters so they dont need to use SWS  Big grin
*Shock* Theres an airport that is crap compared to CWL  Wow!
Just joking Chris  Big grin Happy New Year

LOL @ GKirk

Thanks mate.. Happy New Year to you too..

I don't really now why 6G (Air Wales) touched the place anyway.. I would like to see them move all their fleet and operations to CWL.. be a much better business then!

For your information, the loads too and from Swansea are BETTER than from Cardiff ... That was confirmed when i flew a LCY-CWL sector, there were about 35 people on the flight in which only 6 of us got off at CWL ...
All together or not at all
