Singled Aisles Aircraft

Does Any Airline operate flights that go and do trans-pacific and trans-Atlantic with a singled aisles aircraft. If anyone has been on any or know of any airline that does? What is it like being so cramped.

CO flies 757's on several transatlantic routes, including CLE-LGW, EWR-BHX, EWR-DUB/SNN, and soon EWR-EDI...having flown the EWR-BHX-EWR route before, I can say its not so bad...its the same seats as if it were in a widebody (although no PTV's) just only one aisle instead of two...not bad at all...

Flying transatlantic out of EWR into GLA (which is actually now a widebody flight most of the time) and DUB, BHX etc is not really much longer than flying transcon. This comes up a lot and the bottom line is if these cities want to have transatlantic service, then this is as big of a plane that can economically work the route. Continental would love to fill a 777 7 days a week to all of these places, but it isnt going to happen, so they match capacity and demand, and probably do this better than any other carrier.
