What Became Of Air Bourbon?

Wed Jan 07, 2004 7:38 pm

Anyone know how things are going for Air Bourbon?

I know they started services from Reunion to Orly and Lyon with an ex Air Tahiti Nui A342, but other than that I've heard nothing more about them - how are the load factors, plans for new routes etc?

Statistically, people who have had the most birthdays tend to live the longest.

Sorry for the link, in French only

They plan to add a stop in MXP for their LYS flight.
They also have asked traffic rights to serve Mayotte from La Reunion. They plan to use their A340 for this short route. Their idea is to take local traffic from Air Austral and increase the use of their aircraft and the loadfactor on the long haul segment.
Their deficit is estimated at 1.7 million Euros. They hope to break-even in 2005, thanks to those 2 flights
