-AMM are onward connections to Lebanon. While RJ
offers the most convenient flight to the Middle East from Detroit, it would be far easier for passengers to fly MEA
directly to Beirut. Around the month of June and July MEA
could easily fill an A330 four times a week just from Lebanese people going to Lebanon for the summer. Lufthansa was considering a second daily flight last summer that would have increased their frequency FRA
to 10x weekly.
One of the biggest complaints I hear from people traveling from Detroit to Beirut through Europe is the long connection times, sometimes up to 14 hours!
