How Is The IFE On RJ's A-340?

Fri Jan 16, 2004 9:17 pm

As I am thinking of travelling to Bangkok on RJ, I simply am curious what their IFE consists of on their A-340s.
Do they have PTVs in Economy Class ?
And another question: I would have to spend 4 hours of transfer time at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, so how's the airport ?

RJ is a wonderful airline. Compared to other Middle Eastern airlines thier IFE is not as good. In first class each seat has its own PTV which pops up from the seat. In economy there are no PTVs but there are popdown screens. Flight attendants are very friendly, always smiling.

Amman's airport is quite small, so if you are spending 4 hours there you could see the whole airport in about an hour if you walked around. There is not a significant amount of air traffic there, so plane watching is a bit on the dull side. But I hope your decision goes well and have a wonderful trip!
