The flight is scheduled nicely so that MEA
can maximize the A330s flight time in the day. As we all know, planes sitting on the tarmac in Beirut don't make any money. MEA
's A330 flights to CDG
both leave around 8am. That would mean that if MEA
is able to get the A330 coming from CPH
(which arrives at 6am) turned around in good time, it will be on the ground for less than two hours in Beirut before going on its next trip. That is putting into account no delays or incidents that might cause conflicts in the schedules.
