The differences, imho, aren't substantial enough to justify the extra cost. The upside to flying First Class trans-con is that you're bound to start-struck with someone famous, as those flights always have VIPs onboard.
From New York, you'd only be on the 757 if you flew out of EWR
trans-con. I've done it plenty of times, and on UA
, it's fine. The product is just more basic. It's better than flying DFW
in that plane!
