Any MD-8X series, especially in the back. I never did have an affinity for these interiors. They were small and cramped to me. I only liked the flight deck.  Big grin

And any Airbus.

I do not want to fly on AS MD-80 (or any MD-80 series for that matter). I did once, it felt too cramped and ever since, I am willing to pay extra or fly at less convenient times to avoid it.

If you mean a plane I haven't flown on before, I can't really think of one because I want to try all planes at least once. But if I really had to choose, it would have to be some CRJ, I prefer to fly on props for shorter distances.

Ever since I was stuck in the last seat in the right side rear of a CO DC-9, I have never liked DC-9s or any MD-80/90 aircraft. It felt very claustrophobic for me (and I'm not a claustrophobic type); this "coffin-corner" seat was next to the right engine (no window) and right in front of the rear lavatory bulkhead. Noisy and cramped! These could be called "flying coffins" for their cramped interiors!
All the DC-9/MD-80/90 aircraft are skinny ("flying pencils") and thus cramped inside, and the seating is asymmetric (3-2 or 2-3), and while they are OK for shorter trips, are definitely not OK for longer trips.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... (Psalm 139:14)

DC-9-1x, it still serves in Colombia in a regional airline i flow on it recently and didn't like it.....really tooooooooo old, anyway i feel great in the M-8x series.
Just put me on any modern airliner and i will be happy, give me more star alliance miles and i will be a lot more happy.

I'm surprised planes like the DC-9/MD80/717 have been mentioned. Those are all great aircraft.

As for me the 737- all series except the -200

I didn't really like the 727 I flew on (United, in 1999) but on the way to Australia recently I was stuck in "window" seats twice- even though my "window" was of a blank wall. It was horrible on the 744- I couldn't see out of the plane at all! Other than that, I like to try all types of planes.

Mark me down for the beech 1900, with two crashes in 2003, it's pretty sketchy in my opinion.

When I fly, usually I fly from COS connecting through DFW. AA. Translation: The MD80 was fine the first 50 times I flew it, then it just got boring. Even from DFW to SEA the flight was MD80. I have never been on widebody, the biggest was 757. That was a fun ride. Just PLEASE NO MORE MD80!!

A319

Had a horrible flight on UA from LAX-ORD about a year and a half ago. The interior was shabby, my IFE didn't work, I was in seat 24A (the "don't fly here" recommendation at http://www.seatguru.com/united/A319.shtml comes from this horrible flight). Ugh.

Next Tuesday I'll be flying on a US A320 SFO-PIT. Lets hope this one is better!

737s, except maybe the -800. I too am fed up of flying the 737-300 in particular. Nor am I a fan of the CRJ.

If I have a choice of A/C when booking a flight, I will try to avoid these:
A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, high-density B737, B757 or MD-8x.

Nethkt, I would love to fly an L1011!

But seriously though I love to fly no matter what the plane is, as long as it's airworthy. Big grin

But if I HAD to pick an airliner I would least want to fly on right now though, it would probably be any 737. As much as I love this plane, it seems like the last 5 times I've flown it's been a 73.

I'd fly on anything anyday. Being the opposite of many replies, I'd like to fly on a Russian built A/C.

Too bad the 154's don't fly to ARN anymore! Or do they?

However, the B-1900D is one I steer clear of.

Some of these preferences are a bit strange.

For me, I would least like to fly on any aircraft where the seat pitch in economy is less than 32".

Otherwise, I'd love to fly anything out there.

Fokker F28 - incredibly loud and uncomfortable!

737-200 - I'm actually getting sick and tired on flying these all the time!

Beechcraft 1900D - no way am I gonna fly on one of these - not even between YEG and YYC (30/40 min apart by jet a/c/prop, respectively)!
