NWA 757-300

Fri Jan 23, 2004 2:39 am

Have any one flown Northwest 757-300's?

how is the seating on the exit row, just behind 2L? i heard there are only two seats, but the question is, is it like two seats close to the window or same as the 737-300 exit row?

Hamad,

My 753 experiences are similar to the 752 experiences. I did find the 753 a little more comfortable (mainly because the a/c I flew on were just a few months old).

The seating behind 2L is OK, but the best seating on the plane in Y from my experiences by far are rows 27 (second over wing exit) and rows 40. Personally I liked 40 a little better.
The New American is arriving.

The row just behind door 2L does only have 2 seats and it's the one that would be the window seat that is missing. But if I remember correctly the 2 are shifted to the left a little, which makes for more room for the row behind it. I think seat 15A is really good because you actually have a window and no seat in front of you and you can get out of your seat without bothering anyone. Row 14 definetly does not have good viewing, the window is in row 15.

Great airplanes! I've flown them several times. The only exit row seat I've ever sat in was 40D. It was a great seat, I think I could have sat there a long time. The only drawback is that it's a little noisier.

Part of the great experience was the great company that I sat near. Just friendly fellow passengers and flight attendants across from us. Seatguru.com lists row 40 as an excellent row.

I flew on a 757-300, and truthfully I thought that the 757-200 was more comfortable. I felt like I had a little more leg room on the 200. Also, the windows were easier to see out of on the 200.
