Ok for starters I realise the fact that if you lot were up ere i might aswell prebook by ambulance ride to the emergency room due to the fact that just reading the title would probably give some of you a good enough reason to come over and just cream me. Boot in the arse for me for comin up with such a title.
So back on topic. Air Canada seems a more eastern Canada based airline, and good old Canadi>n was more of a western airline to many canadians. Now we have Air Canada still more eastern than a western airline, and out west we have our buddy Westjet. Also, Canadian started more on its own markets then expanded into Air Canada Land, and it seems Westjet is doing the same with there upped services to YYZ
I realise that Westjet is a LCC and Canadian was a major, aswell as the fact that Canadian served 5 continents where as Westjet only does domestic routes within Canada. But, with those facts aside, can anyone see where im coming from? I mean CP
was based in YYC
from what i heard, and someone told me so is Westjet. They both started out west and moved into AC
land. They both started with older a/c (732) and soon bought up some newer birds 737NG/A320). They both seemed to be costimer driven and the staff seemed to have a posotive outlook.
Unfortunatly Canadi>n Airlines International was swallowed up by long time bitter rival Air Canada. But, while this was happening a new western based airline called Westjet was rising. Now that CP
is gone we see WestJet continue to expand into AC
land and former CP
land, and maybe some day start up a few international routes.
So to make it short, who here can see the idea that Westjet in some ways could possibly just maybe be the next Canadian?
Thank you for yer time please dont get too upset about anything i have said and best of luck to everyone.
