Click on 'Turbine', then the aircraft title.

I doubt they'll get anything close to $35 million for this bird...

It's owned by the BancBoston Transport Leasing and operates for SportsJet. It previously did charter missions for the Airzona Diamondbacks & Phoenix Suns...

Is that a 737-400 or a 737-300?

It looks more like a 737-300 to me. I has only one overwing exit.

To me it looks like a -300 it has only one window exit on each side.

The second overwing exit has obviously been de-activated - corporate aircraft do not require the full complement of exits due to their very low passenger capacities, and often have exits balnked off to make best use of the interior space.

N737DX is one of the four 737-408's which Icelandair bought new during 1989-1991. They operated this one until late 1998 I think. All four have now left Icelandair's fleet with 757's taking their place.

I flew a roundtrip KEF-CPH-KEF on some of them in 1991, might have been this one.

"NOPE! THIS is a -400model:"

I sure hope a typo is involved in the above statement.

I see this plane at Swift Aviation at KPHX all the time. I believe Swift has a subsidiary that handles sports charters. They may be leasing this plane, along with N757BJ. 757BJ is always around during the baseball months. If you're impressed by a 737 BBJ, then how about a 757 BBJ?

I recognize the hangars behind the picture of that 737. It was taken on the north side of the airport.

It would be a shame to see it go.
