Avioncitos Meeting In Monterrey (MTY)

Wed Jan 28, 2004 8:20 am

After more than a year holding our Avioncitos Meeting in MEX, I think it is time to start doing them also in MTY. Before, I also tried to start Avioncitos Meetings in EZE but that was somehow not a success.

Hopefully, we can start a regular meeting in MTY. I will be visiting my homeland next 5th-7th February... Therefore, I am proposing to hold this 1st Avioncitos Meeting in MTY on the 6th February at 10am in the Cafeteria of MTY...

What do you think? I have seen a lot of regios around this forum...

I would start one in GDL, but the main restaurants in GDL, Chilis and Wings are for ticketed passengers only!!!!!! They both have a great view to the runway thought.

we should live our lives as if we were really alive!!! H.M.

How about avioncitos in HMO? We can have a picnic in the fence 80 meters from the threshold of runway 23, with planes passing not more than 30 Wow! meters high over our heads!!! Big thumbs up

Yeah, yeah, its too far away, but maybe someday...

Why not one at DFW? We can visit both DFW and DAL together!

One in MTY would be great. Plus, in the near future, they would be the only ones I could attend. If you do decide to go ahead with it, I can help with some of the logistics.

PZurita1,

Feb 6 is a friday. Is that correct? Or did you mean saturday the 7th?

Can you see the airplanes from the cafeteria at MTY?

Are we ever going to see the picture you took at the last avioncitos meeting at MEX?  Big grin
