AF's 74Fs

Fri Jan 30, 2004 11:44 pm

Was just looking on SIN's airport website. It says that AF operates the 747-300F, but AF does not operate this beast, although it operates the 747-200 SUD (K, L and M). I am pretty sure this is what they mean. Can anyone confirm? Cheers!

AF operates the :
747-228
747-228M
747-2B3 SUD/SCD
747-3B3
747-428
747-428M
747-4B3
747-4B3M

747-228F
747-2B3F
747-428ERF

Perhaps they meant the 747-300 Combi.

Yeah, I know what it operates. It's not the combi as it's a freight-only flight. When I was in SIN last AF operated the 747-200F, so I presume that this is what it means when it says 747-300F. Bit misleading, mind, but hey.

AF doesn't operate 747-228M, 747-428M, 747-4B3M...
All are former Combi, now in full pax configuration.

Air France doesn't operate anymore PAX/Freight Combi a/c

The former 4 UTA B747-300Combi operate in an all PAX high density configuration on the CDG/ORY-->PTP/FDF route.

The B747-200 Combi have been transformed either in all Freighter a/c, either All PAX a/c (in a high density PAX config. also for "sun" destinations). 5 of them are still in service for another 2 years maximum.

All the B747-400 Combi : F-GISA,B,C,D,E and F-GEXB (ex-UTA) are now operating in a full PAX "classic" 3 classes config. (to be changed very soon...)
