I think it is a daily flight, and due the odd operating hours (ARR: 5:30/DEP 6:30, in the morning) most local enthusiast don´t even know about it.
Both Avianca and Aeromexico sometimes change the aircraft without notice, so most of the time both operate with 767-200s, but depending on season and pax load they might come with 757(Avianca) or 767-300s (Aeromexico).
Cubana also has a weekly flight with IL62s
On future airlines, never heard anything about El Al, and this security reason laid by our CAA sounds non-sense to me, specially because El Al already made some ad-hoc charters to GIG
Emirates might be here sometime in the future and I´m already looking forward to see MEA
